In September 2022, a movie was originally scheduled to premiere in theaters on 29th June 2023 but was then rescheduled to be released a week earlier, on 23rd June 2023. However, the release date was changed once more, and the new planned date became 7th July 2023. Now Finally, on 24th April 2023, a fresh release date of 25th August 2023 was officially announced for the film.

Storyline

The story of Dream Girl 2 revolves around a young man named Karamveer Singh. Karamveer Singh from Mathura, comes from a humble background. He faces financial struggles in his job, which his father, Jagjit Singh, disapproves of, especially when Karamveer reveals his dream of transitioning. 

This revelation leads to a heated argument, and Karamveer storms off to his friend Smiley Singh's house. While there, Karamveer shares his story, starting with a flashback on a plane from Delhi to New York, where he meets a girl named Pari. 

They fall deeply in love and explore the city together. In New York, Karamveer introduces Pari to his father, who is in charge of businesses related to computer engineering. However, Jagjit Singh has to decide whether Karamveer should continue working or pursue further development.
